Future Continuous Tense

The future continuous tense talks about a long action that will begin and end in the future.

  • I will be watching TV all evening.
    (action/watch TV – long/all evening)

The future continuous is formed using will be + present participle of a verb (-ing)

  • I will be using the car tomorrow.

The negative is formed using will + not + be + present participle of a verb (-ing)

  • She will not be coming with us tomorrow.

The question is formed using will + subject + be + present participle of a verb (-ing)

  • Will she be coming with us tomorrow?
