Both, Either or Neither

Both is used to talk about two objects or people at the same time.
Either is used when talking about a choice between two things or people.
Neither is used when talking negatively about two things or people.

  • John has two children. Both are at school.
  • We can either eat now or after the film – it’s your choice.
  • I had two jobs last year. Neither was very interesting.
