Past Participle

The past participle form of a verb is usually the same as the past tense form of the verb and ends in -ed. It is also known as the third form. Sometimes it is even called V3. It is used in the perfect tenses.

  • I have read everything.

It is used in passive tenses.

  • It was read by many people.

It is used as an adjective.

  • He is the most relaxed man I know.
