High is used for things that are wider or longer than they are high. Tables, mountains, walls, etc.
Tall is used for things that are taller than they are wide. People, trees, skyscrapers, etc.
- The wall is four metres high and 25 metres long.
- There are some beautiful tall trees in my garden.
