A reflexive pronoun is used when something does something to itself. The reflexive pronouns are:
- myself
- yourself
- herself
- himself
- itself
- ourselves
- yourselves
- themselves
As in these examples:
- Alice drove herself to the airport.
(Alice drove Alice to the airport.) - The members talked amongst themselves for an hour.
(The members talked with the members.)
You use a reflexive pronoun, so you do not have to repeat the subject.
