How to use such and so with adjectives

We can use so or such with adjectives to make them stronger.

Such, with or without an adjective, is used before a noun.

  • He is such an idiot.
    (such + noun)
  • He is such a complete idiot.
    (such + adjective + noun)

So is used before an adjective.

  • She is so beautiful.
    (so + adjective)
