The third person is neither the speaker nor the listener. The third person is used for someone else. The third-person pronouns are:

- she
- it
- they
As in these examples:
- I am speaking to you about her.
(first person/I – second person/you – third person/her) - The doctor is speaking to the nurse about the patient.
(first person/doctor – second person/nurse – third person/patient)
First person uses I or we.
Second person uses you.
