So am I

When you agree with a positive sentence you say So do I.

A young dog is lying on the back of a cat.

‘I like cats.’
So do I.’

When you agree with a positive sentence you say So do/am/etc I.
(So + Auxiliary Verb + Subject)
• ‘I’d love to visit Poland some day.’
‘So would I.’
• ‘I’m going out with that sexy new assistant tomorrow.’
‘So am I.’
