Me or I?

If you are not sure whether to use me or I then try this simple test.

A Japanese man is sitting on the floor watching TV. Next to him is his young son dressed in the same clothes also watching TV.

My dad and me watching TV.

Re-write your sentence leaving Me or I in, but take out the other person. If the sentence sounds good then you are right.
• They are going to send my wife and I a package.
Re-write the sentence:
• They are going to send I a package.
This sounds wrong. It should be:
• They are going to send me a package.
So your sentence should say:
• They are going to send my wife and me a package.

• Jim and I are going to the beach.
Re-write the sentence:
• I am going to the beach.
This sounds right. So, the sentence is good.

Remember: Take out the other person. If the sentence sounds good then you are right.
