Use of will in the zero conditional

In the zero conditional the if-clause and the main clause are in the present tense.

Don’t use will in the main clause.

  • If you mix blue and yellow, you will get green.
    If you mix blue and yellow, you get green.
  • When you use sun cream, you will protect your skin from the sun.
    When you use sun cream, you protect your skin from the sun.
